Cybersecurity competitions have proven to be an effective way for finding new cybersecurity talents and fostering the development of the required cybersecurity competencies.
In this regard, the Tanzania Communications Regulatory Authority (TCRA) has partnered with Silensec in organizing a national cybersecurity competition called the CyberStars of Tanzania.
This competition shall provide a virtual space for local university students aged between 18-24 years to learn more about cybersecurity and develop their skills in this field.
Objectives
• Raise and improve the cyber security skills amongst the youth.
• Identify individuals who are capable in cyber security domains
• Raise cyber security culture within the targeted groups
